Undergraduate Admission Requirements for Students from US High Schools​

Entry requirements for courses may vary from year to year, depending on the number of places available and the number of applicants.

Most Irish universities and colleges require SAT or ACT along with a High School Diploma. The scores required vary depending on the program and the university you choose.

High School Diploma with minimum GPA of 3.0 plus a standardized test – minimum SAT score of 1090 or minimum ACT score of 21.

Entry requirements for courses may vary from year to year, depending on the number of places available and the number of applicants.

Generally, Irish universities will be looking at overall averages on your top relevant grade 12 academic subjects. Depending on the program of study, students should have a minimum of 70% or a “B” average as defined by your provincial high school curriculum. Students completing an IB or AP program may be considered for advanced standing
