Ireland is a very small country when you compare it to the size of the United States or Canada which is one of the reasons a lot of our North American students love it.

• Ireland has the youngest population in Europe with one third of the population under 25 years of age.
• Ireland is roughly the size of the state of Indiana in the US or in Canadian terms Ontario is 15 times larger than Ireland.
• It is very easy to travel within Ireland, and to the UK and Europe
  
  • It is a 150-minute drive from Dublin located on the east coast of Ireland to the west coast of Ireland
  • It is a 180-minute drive from Dublin to Cork (South of Ireland)
  • Flight time from Ireland to the England is roughly 1 hour
  • Flight time from Ireland to Spain is 2 hours
